Scott G. Pernitz was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Pernitz graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude in 1975. He further attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for law school and graduated (J.D) cum laude in 1979.  He was a member of the Wisconsin Law Review from 1978-1979 and admitted to the bar in 1980.
